Aggie Turner Lockhart, 68, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday morning, June 13, 2017 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation in Owingsville . She was born August 17, 1948 in Montgomery County to the late Roscoe, Sr. and Hassie Fritz Turner.
Aggie was a Montgomery County native of the Christian faith. She was an avid reader and most of all, she enjoyed her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; five daughters, Tammy Hall (Tony), Theresea Helton (Stacy), both of Mt. Sterling, Darlene Hudson (Jerry), Kim White (Darrell) and Marion Stanley (Eric), all of Jeffersonville; one son, Travis Welch (Brooke) of Mt. Sterling; four sister, Elaine Burns (Paul) of Mt. Olivet, Millie Skidmore (Warren) of Frenchburg, Rita Cartmill (Teddy) of Carlisle and Shirley Ginter (Bobby) of Jeffersonville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion Arthur Lockhart, Jr. and two brothers, Roscoe Turner, Sr. and Donnie Neal.
Funeral will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, both services at Queen Street Christian Fellowship. The burial will be at the Sponcil Cemetery. Bother Steve McQuire will be officiating.
