Alice Darlene Wyatt

January 6, 1948 — November 30, 2019

Alice Darlene Wyatt, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Joseph Bluegrass Care Navigators.  She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 6, 1948 to the late Roy Willard and Florence Ruth Box Wyatt, Sr.

Alice moved to Mt. Sterling from Homestead, FL in 1983 and was a member of Howards Mill First Church of God.  She traveled down the east coast and lived in several locations including New York, North Carolina and Florida before settling with family here in Mt. Sterling.  Alice enjoyed traveling, reading, animals, missionary work with Go Ye Chapel in New York and volunteering at youth group events and other church socials.  She loved spending time with friends and family they will miss her dearly.

She is survived by three brothers, Arthur Carter (Ruth) of FL, Butch Wyatt (Shirley) of WI and Randy Wyatt of Jeffersonville; two sisters, June Wyatt Robertson of Jeffersonville and Brenda Wyatt of Mt. Sterling; nieces, Monica Salmons of Bath County and Katrina Perry (Philip) of GA; nephew and Brandon Back of Mt. Sterling; several other nieces and nephews and her dog "Patchy".

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her step mother, Virginia Lee Wyatt and sister Linda Kay Back.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 1:00PM at Wyatt Family Cemetery on Howards Mill Road.  Pastor David Campbell will officiate.
