Ana Iris Aponte Alvarez

Ana Iris Aponte Alvarez, 56, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling Hospital. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 12, 1964 to the late Sabat Aponte Acevedo and Francisca Alvarez Andino.

Ana moved to Montgomery County eight months ago from Puerto Rico. She was of the Catholic faith & previously worked in the medical field in the pathology department. She enjoyed; watching basketball, traveling and working. She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by one brother, Jose Luis Aponte Alvarez of Puerto Rico; three sisters, Isabel Aponte Alvarez of Mt. Sterling, Lucy Aponte Alvarez of Philadelphia and Zoila Luz Aponte Alvarez of Puerto Rico.
