Ann Bell (Alfrey) Pelfrey

April 17, 1950 — August 15, 2019

Ann Alfrey Pelfrey, 69, of Mt. Sterling died on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on April 17, 1950 in Mt. Sterling to the late Walter Bridges Alfrey and Mary Conkright Carpenter.

Ann was of the Christian faith, a homemaker and a native of Mt. Sterling.  She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Ann loved the Lord and was a passionate viewer of the television show "Hour of Harvest" on WLJC Christian TV and Radio.  Her friends and family will miss her.

She is survived by three sons, Dwayne Pelfrey of Melbourne, FL, Joey Pelfrey (Edie) of Jeffersonville and Gary Pelfrey of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Juanita Pelfrey of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Jasper Pelfrey and Piper Pelfrey both of Jeffersonville; one sister, Patsy Henry (Russell) of Judy; one brother-in-law, Richard Barker of Dayton, OH; three sister-in-laws, Linda Alfrey of Mt. Sterling, Patty Alfrey of Lexington and Elaine Alfrey of Melbourne, FL  and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to her parents Ann was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Lynn Pelfrey; one son, Marvin Ray Pelfrey; six brothers, Gerald Alfrey, Bobby Alfrey, Harvey Alfrey, Bill Alfrey, Paul Alfrey and Ricky Alfrey and three sisters, Ruth Sutherlan, Juanita Barker and Brenda Frederick.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 7:00PM.  Visitation will be prior from 5:00PM-7:00PM.  Both will take place at Queen Street Christian Fellowship.  Pastor Rick Stafford will be officiating.
