Anna Mae Moran Manley, 92, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Germantown, Kentucky on May 7, 1927 to the late John Adrian and Sylvia Toomay Moran.
Anna moved to Mt. Sterling over fifty-five years ago and was member of Fellowship Gospel Church in Sharpsburg. Anna loved all of her family, especially her grandchildren whom she doted over and always baked birthday cakes for. She enjoyed dancing, playing musical instruments such as the piano, guitar and even wrote her own music. Anna's friends and family will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, William "Bill" Manley of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Chuck Bartley (Kim) of Mt. Sterling and Diedre Lovell (Joe) of Elizabethtown; three great grandchildren Dalton Daugherty of Jeffersonville, Jenna Bartley of Morehead and Justin Bartley of Lexington. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her Arby's Restaurant family.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by two sons, Freddy Manley and John Adrian Manley; one daughter, Patricia Ann Manley Bartley and three sisters, Frances Tarr, Mildred Buckler and Christine Beagle.
Funeral will be Monday, January 6, 2020 at 1:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. Both will be held at Sharpsburg Christian Church with committal following at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
Pallbearers: Steve Richards, Marcus Richards, Mike Richards, Doug Richards, Dustin Richards and Carson Richards.
Honorary Pallbearers: Frank Green, Mark Walters, David Walters, Chuck Bartley, Tucker Bailey, Dale Beagle, Dalton Daugherty, Jenna Bartley and Justin Bartley.
