Anthony “Tony” Tyler Lambert, 57, born on September 15, 1966, in Morehead to the late Anthony E. Lambert and Paulette M. Jamison, passed away on July 24, 2024, at his residence in Mount Sterling. Tony, a talented electrician, also known for his passion for sports, particularly golf, Nascar, and University of Kentucky basketball and football, and a proud fan of horse racing at Keeneland.
A man of many talents, Tony graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1984, later serving in the Air Force. His love for cooking was unmatched, often showcasing his special recipes to friends and family, alongside his avid support for his favorite teams, where he would always enthuse about their latest victories.
Tony's life was enriched by his two beloved sons, Tyler and Logan (Paige) Lambert; granddaughter, Lily Lambert; siblings, Heath Lambert and Keath Lambert; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life service honoring Tony Lambert's life will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Irish Hills Golf Course Pavilion in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, providing an opportunity for family and friends to come together and celebrate the legacy of a remarkable man. In honoring his military service, a special ceremony will be held to commemorate his time in the Air Force. Heath Lambert will be officiating. Committal will follow the service at 2:30PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
Through his journey in life, Tony touched the hearts of many and will forever be remembered for his kindness, passion, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in peace.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Lambert.
