Arthur Blaine McCarty, 51, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born June 29, 1961 in Mt. Sterling to the late Arthur and Mary Patrick McCarty.
Arthur was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County; He was a former employee of Mid-State Plastics where he worked as a shipping supervisor. Arthur loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, he enjoyed watching westerns and was a UK basketball fan.
Survivors include; his wife of four years, Kathy Ann Martin McCarty of Mt. Sterling; a son, Kyle Blaine McCarty of Stanton; a stepson, Christopher Lee Snelling of Mt. Sterling; a stepdaughter, Cadena Dawn Snelling of Lexington; a brother, Gerald Nealis (Beverly) of Bath County; four sisters, Jannie Clayton (Mike) of Mt. Sterling, Billie Nealis of Bath County, Sherri Moore (Ray) of Lebanon, Ohio, and Debbie Wolf of Lebanon, Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor Dylan Snelling of Jackson and Myley Joe Coleman of Lexington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry McCarty.
