Barbara Sue Curran
August 11, 1952 — February 14, 2017
Barbara Sue Curran , 64, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 11, 1952 in Mt. Sterling to the late Jesse and Becky Moore Curran.
Barbara was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith, graduated from the last class of the Mt. Sterling High School and previously worked at the Montgomery County Regional Jail as a deputy jailer. She enjoyed reading, animals, camping and fishing at Cave Run Lake. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; one son, Joe Gibson of Florence; one sister, Debbie Tester (Mike) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Jaxson Gibson of Mt. Sterling and Sydnie Sterling of Erlanger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mullins and one son, Jesse Gibson.
Memorial service will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12:00PM. Visitation will prior from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, service at Queen Street Christian Fellowship. Pastor Dale Fawns will be officiating.
