Bessie Jane (McIntosh) Carroll

Bessie Jane McIntosh, 64, of Winchester, passed away on Friday afternoon, July 15, 2022, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville.  She was born on September 21, 1957 in Bath County, Kentucky to the late William and Cordelia Gross McIntosh.

Bessie had been a resident of Winchester, following her move from Mt. Sterling in 2019.  She attended Life Impact Church, Mt. Sterling and was a wonderful homemaker for her family and will be remembered for her amazing cooking skills.  She enjoyed; flower gardening, hummingbirds, watching scary movies and playing cards and games on her phone.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Bessie is survived by her beloved husband; Junior Carroll of Winchester; two sons; Eugene McCarty (Crystal) of Mt. Sterling and Eric Carroll (Bobbie) of Morehead; one daughter; Tasha Carroll of Winchester; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; one brother; Sam McIntosh of Mt. Sterling; three sisters; Sheila Ibbar of Winchester, Naomi Cane of Florence and Mandy Watkins of Florence.

In addition to her parents Bessie was preceded in death by her son; William Carroll; three brothers; Leonard McIntosh, John McIntosh and Bill McIntosh; two sisters; Nancy Ginter and Paulie Mason.
