Betty Sue (Barnes) McGee

Betty Sue Barnes McGee, 86, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.   She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on March 17, 1935 to the late Eulice and Anna Grooms Barnes

Betty was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, a wonderful homemaker and attended Jeffersonville Baptist Church.  She enjoyed; sewing, traveling and her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son; Dale McGee (Cassie) of Jeffersonville; three daughters; JoAnn Doyle (Gary) of Winchester, Vickie Crabtree (Ray) of Beattyville and Mary Helen McGee of Hurley, Mississippi; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several step grandchildren; one sister; Patti Tuttle of West Jefferson, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son; Douglas Stamper and brother; Gene Barnes.
