Billy Lee

Billy Lee, 77, of Owingsville, died Monday morning, April 13, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Pike County on June 14, 1942 to the late Woodrow and Corbie Ward Lee.

Billy was a member of Sugar Grove Christian Church and a retired coal miner.  He enjoyed deer hunting and working on old cars.  Billy loved his church and spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Carolyn Swiney Lee of Owingsville; one son, Jeff Lee (Paula) of Pikeville; one daughter, Ruth Lee Moore (Seth) of Redmond, Washington; three grandchildren, Tyler Cline (Weston) of Richmond, Marissa Ratliff (Nick) of Richmond and Noah Moore of Redmond, Washington; three great grandchildren, Masin Lee, Grayson Ratliff and Asher Ratliff all of Richmond and three sisters, Fayetta Swiney (Johnny) of Mt. Sterling, Juanita Finley of Mason, Ohio and Betty Anderson (Emmitt) of Elkhorn City.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Ratliff; one brother, Ed Lee and his hunting buddy, Ricky Hall.

Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Sugar Grove Christian Church at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Sugar Grove Christian Church, 3841 Stepstone Road, Owingsville, KY 40360.
