Billy Ray Warfield, 34, of Jeffersonville, died Friday morning at his residence, February 21, 2014. He was born in Morehead on October 12, 1979 to the late Clarence Warfield and Joyce Warfield.
Billy has been a resident of Montgomery County for three years, previously of Frenchburg. He does seasonal work, primary tobacco farming. Billy was a big UK basketball fan, he also enjoyed being outdoors; fishing, hunting and camping. He was big hearted and had a laid back, jokester personality. Billy will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his wife, Tracie Ferguson Warfield of Jeffersonville; two sons, Michael Warfield of Jeffersonville and Jeramiah Henry of Frenchburg; one daughter, Haley Warfield of Jeffersonville; his mother, Joyce Dennis Warfield (Jimmy O'Hair) of Bath County; two brothers, Vincent Warfield (Christina) and Jason O'Hair both of Frenchburg; three sisters, Angela Sturgill (Kermit) of Salt Lick, Tammy Warfield of Jeffersonville and April Warfield of Frenchburg; his grandmother, Dottie Amburgy of Frankfort and numerous nephews and nieces.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harlem Amburgy; his maternal grandparents, Tom and Alma Dennis and one sister, April O'Hair.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 12:00PM. Visitation will also be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Queen Street Christian Fellowship. Burial will follow at the Fagan Cemetery. Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Travis Sturgill, Jay Jones, Jim O'Hair, Leroy Stamper, Doug Hagerman and James Ferguson.
