Bobby Moore Davis, 84, of Mt. Sterling, died, Friday morning, January 29, 2016, at UK Medical Center. He was born February 6, 1931 in Montgomery County, to the late Lawson and Elizabeth Reid Davis.
Bobby was a Montgomery County native, a retired truck driver from Trojan Manufacturing and City Cartage and a United States Naval Reserve veteran. As well as a member, he served as a deacon and treasurer at Rolling Hills Church of Christ. Bobby enjoyed church, reading, UK basketball and football and most of all, his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his wife of sixty-five years, Jo Shultz Davis of Mt. Sterling; one son, Bobby Paul "B.P." Davis (Connie) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Suzanne Davis-Hite (Dan) of Lexington; two grandsons, Eric Davis and Evan Davis (Rachel), both of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Sue Henson (Bill) of San Bernardino, California; two sister-in laws; Carolyn Cline and Bethel Shultz, both of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews.
