Bobby Gene Hart

Bobby Gene Hart, 74, of Bath County died Tuesday, December 18, 2019 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Navigators surrounded by his family.  He was born on February 13, 1945 in Bath County to the late Ray and Etta Hart.

Bobby was a lifelong resident of Bath County and attended Slate Valley Christian Church.  He could grow anything and loved his gardens.  Bobby had a strong work ethic, enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren whom he adored.  His friends and family will miss him greatly.

He is survived by one son, Bobby Lee Hart (Kim) of Dayton, Ohio; one daughter, Tammy Jo White (Steven) of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren, Jessica Vickers (Trey) of Lexington, Natalie Hart of Dayton, Ohio, Abigail White of Jeffersonville and MaKenna White also of Jeffersonville; one brother, James Lee Hart (Judy) of Raleigh, North Carolina; three sisters, Beula Wimmer, Scottye Wilson and Juanita Jo Meyer all of Marion, Indiana and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Hart and Tommy Hart and three brother-in-law's Bob Wimmer, Sam Wilson and Paul Meyer.

There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Dinner in Bobby's honor on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:00PM at Slate Valley Christian Church located at 2563 Wyoming Road, Owingsville, KY 40360.
