Bonnie Kay (Nester) Hayes

Bonnie Kay Nester Hayes, 71, of Jeffersonville, died Friday morning, March 24, 2017 at her residence.  She was born June 7, 1945 in Middletown, Ohio to the late George and Julie Lawson Nester.

Bonnie moved to Montgomery County in 1957 from Menifee County and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  She enjoyed cooking, feeding the birds in her feeders, vegetable & flower gardening and most of all her family and grandchildren.   She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; her beloved husband, Bill Hayes of Jeffersonville; five sons, Stan Stull (Shannon) of Mt. Sterling, Bill Stull (Jeri) of Jeffersonville, Steven Hayes (Nichola) of Mt. Sterling, Shawn Hayes of Williamstown and Ralph Hayes (Jo) of Carlisle; two daughters, Ann Campbell (Doug Dawson) of Mt. Sterling and Judy Roberts (Lee) of Paris; sixteen grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Josh Campbell, Jeremy Curtis, Austin Burden, Rachel Roberts, Kayla Barnett, Kyle Stull, Noah Stull, Lindsay Stull, Lauren Hayes, Dalton Hayes, Gary Dickerson, Justin Hayes, Mason Hayes, Patrick Hayes and Alyssia Hayes; eight great grandchildren, Cody Campbell, Josh Campbell, Tyler Gardener, Colson Curtis, Brody Curtis, Kannon Ginter, Owen Ginter and Mackenzie Hayes; one brother, George Nester of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Murlene Fitch of Mt. Sterling and Cathy Fleetwood of Winchester.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Danny Nester; two sisters, Patty Markland and Norma Nester.

Funeral will be Monday, March 27, 2017 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Living Water Church.  Committal will follow at the Machpelah Cemetery.  Rev. Kevin Strausbaugh will be officiating.
