Brenton Lee Profitt, 72, of Mt. Sterling passed away on Tuesday evening, February 1, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 4, 1950 to the late Bob Petitt and Betty Joe Wilson Kimbrell.
Brent was a life-long resident of Montgomery County, prior owner of Mt. Sterling Baseball Cards and a was a Veteran medic in the United States Army. Brent had a joking personality and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He was a member of the Church of the Living God in Winchester and will be remembered for his love of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
Brent is survived by his brother Tim Petitt of Mt. Sterling; two sisters; Patsy Butler (Eddie) of Mt. Sterling and Brenda Mapel of Mt. Sterling; special cousins; Gail Wehunt Duff (John) of Mt. Sterling, Aaron Wehunt of Mt. Sterling and Alan Shultz of Mt. Sterling; special friend Doyle King of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents, Brent was preceded in death by two brothers; Kenny Fugate and Walter Earl Kirk.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
