Carl "Lil Bit" Lee Banks

Carl "Lil Bit" Lee Banks, 40, of Mt. Sterling died Friday, July 31, 2020.  He was born in Mt. Sterling on April 25, 1980 to Mary Ann Singleton and the late James Banks.

Carl was a native of the area and a talented artist who was able to use many different mediums to create his art.  He enjoyed food, especially Colby Jack cheese and an ice cold Ale-8-One.  Carl cared deeply for his friends and family and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by two sons, Matt Brown (Micah Thompson) of Chicago, Illinois and Lucas Banks of Wellington; one daughter, Ashley Banks of Morehead; two grandchildren, Jayden Thompson and Brooklyn Brown both of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, James "Chubby" Banks of Winchester; one sister, Melissa "Piggy" Adams (Scotty) of Mt. Sterling and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

In addition to his father James, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Novalee Brown.
