Carolyn Sue (Stephens) Sutton

Carolyn Sue Stephens Sutton, 81, of Danville died on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at UK Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Mt. Sterling on March 26, 1938 to the late Joe and Mamie Stephens.

Carolyn enjoyed her family and always cooked for them along with anyone else wanting a good home cooked meal.  She loved to go shopping with her sisters especially at the Peddler's Mall, her animals and soap operas.  She will be missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Brock of Knoxville, TN and Bonnie Craycraft of Mt. Sterling; two sisters Jo-Ann Powell (Doug) and Joyce Brewer both of Mt. Sterling; eight grandchildren, Heather Wilson (Les) of Danville, Dudley Craycraft of Mt. Sterling, Jamie Thomas (Ryan) of Mt. Sterling, Misty Dockins (Randy) of Knoxville, TN, Jenica Easterling of Knoxville, TN, Keisha Curtis (Jason) of Mt. Sterling, Dallas Evans Sutton, Jr. III of Mt. Sterling and Jordan Shelby Smith of Lexington, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her beloved dogs ChaCha and Savannah.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dallas Evans Sutton, Sr., son Dallas Evans Sutton, Jr., sister, Phyllis Spratt and brother-in-law Jr. Brewer.
