Cathy Lynn Nester Fleetwood

In loving memory of Cathy Lynn Nester Fleetwood, whose bright spirit touched the lives of all those around her, it is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing surrounded by her family on Friday evening, October 11, 2024, at the age of 71. Cathy was born on May 28, 1953, in West Liberty, to the late George and Julia Lawson Nester, and later moved to Montgomery County from Port Richey, Florida, twelve years ago.

Cathy enjoyed a fulfilling career as a housekeeper in the hospitality industry. Her Christian faith guided her throughout her life, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of shopping, dancing, traveling, and preparing delicious meals for her loved ones.

Cathy is survived by her three children, Stephen Esteppe (Kili), Kenneth Esteppe, Jr., and Jennifer Vanover (Robert); six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to Cathy's parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Fleetwood and siblings, George Lee Nester, Murlene Finch, Danny Ray Nester, Sr., Norma Nester, Patty Nester, David Nester, and Bonnie Hayes.

Those who knew Cathy will always remember her infectious laughter, warm personality, and zest for life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.

In accordance with her wishes, Cathy will be cremated, and there will be no services at this time.
