Charles "Charlie" Edward Pierson

Charles "Charlie" Edward Pierson, 84 of Frenchburg, died Monday, September 21, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Owsley County on February 26, 1936 to the late Farris and Zella Greene Peirson.

Charlie retired from General Motors and enjoyed spending time outdoors riding ATV's especially "Razor's", and hunting and fishing.  He loved his family and enjoyed the times they spent together.  His friends and family will miss him dearly.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Hannah Kaye Pierson of Frenchburg; four daughters, Kim Williams (Paul) of Beattyville, Gwin Pierson of Frenchburg, Joette Kirker (Dave) of Williamtown, Ohio and Jesse Salyers of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Wendell Pierson (Velda) of Goshen, Ohio; two sisters, Lula Jean Hallitt and Carol Hornsby both of Ohio; four grandsons, three granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; two step sons, Bobby Henry and Terry Richards (Tammy) both of Frenchburg and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Pierson; one daughter, Kelly Pierson; one grandson, Justin Williams; one brother, Omar Pierson and three sisters, Linda Linch, Fannie Jo Jones and Jane Hamilton.
