Charles "Chuck" Aiken Myers, 71, of Lexington, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born March 1, 1946 in Bethel, Kentucky to the late Roe Myers and Nancy Fisher Hughes.
Chuck moved to Lexington thirty-five years ago from Mt. Sterling, he was of the Christian faith, a graduate from Mt. Sterling High School and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed; fishing, hunting, cooking, vegetable gardening and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include; one son, Michael Myers (Shannon) of Lexington; two grandchildren, Addison Myers and Cooper Myers, both of Lexington; one brother, Bill Thompson (Karen) of Lexington; two sisters, Melissa Hudson (Brad) of Versailles and Darlene Bohannan (Jack) of Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Pilot Dogs, Inc.-Guide Dogs for the Blind, 625 West Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
Visitation Gathering, Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Queen Street Christian Fellowship, Graveside service following at 11:30AM at Longview Cemetery in Bethel, Kentucky.
Pallbearers: Clay Thompson, Brad Hudson, Collin Hudson, J.B. Hudson, Jr., Ryan McCoy, Kyle Smith and Annie Thompson.
Honorary Pallbearers: J.T. Spencer, Bill Gay, Charlie Moreland, Mark Miller and Brian McCoy.
