Cherry Elaine Bell, 64, of Jeffersonville, died Thursday evening, March 1, 2012 at the Windsor Care Center. She was born November 2, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Albert and Annie Cochron.
Cherry graduated from Forrest High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Cherry was employed at Wal-Mart over eighteen years; she transferred to Mt. Sterling in 1998 after taking a management position in the Tire and Lube Department. She truly enjoyed gardening, flowers, jewelry, dogs and butterflies. Cherry will be dearly missed by her husband, family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Jessie Bell, Jr. of Jeffersonville and one brother, James Reeder of Athens, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Association of Kidney Patients.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM and Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, services will be at the Coffman Mortuary Parlor. Rev. William "Hoss" Prater will be officiating.
