Christopher Alan Duty

Christopher Alan Duty, 43, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 11, 1971 to Brenda Sue McGhee Duty and the late Herbert Ronald Duty.
Chris grew up in Pikeville, moved to Winchester in 1987 and has resided in Montgomery County for the past seven years. He was a cable technician for Time Warner Cable. Chris was a very talented singer, songwriter, and harmonica player. He possessed excellent woodworking skills, had a love for animals and will be remembered for his jokester personality. He truly loved his family by whom he will be dearly missed.
Survivors include; his loving wife of 26 years, Kathi Ginter Duty of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Ryan Duty of Lexington and Logan Duty of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Amelia Duty of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Ron Duty (Lisa) of Alexandria; one granddaughter, Chloe Duty of Lexington.
In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Duty.
