Connie Jaye Byrd

Connie Jaye Byrd, 53, of Frenchburg, died Friday evening, July 13, 2012, at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born November 24, 1958 in Frenchburg to the late David and Wanda Back Brown.

Connie worked as a cashier at Video Express. She enjoyed UK basketball, movies, reading, and spending time with her granddaughter, Sophia.

Survivors include; one daughter, Jessica Carter (Matthew) of Frenchburg: one brother, Daniel Brown of Frenchburg: three sisters, Kim Smallwood (Billy), Della Brown, and Sarah Denniston (Jesse) all of Frenchburg; and one granddaughter, Sophia Carter of Frenchburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to Connie's memorial expense fund and Saint Claire Hospice.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 2:00PM at the Botts Christian Church in Frenchburg, Pastor Eddie Williams will be officiating.
