Dallas "Buck" Evans Sutton, Sr.
July 20, 1938 — February 19, 2016
Dallas "Buck" Evans Sutton, Sr., 77, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Windsor Care Center. He was born July 20, 1938 in Bath County to the late Everett and Irene Jones Sutton.
Buck was a life-long resident of Montgomery County and he retired from Averitt Express as a truck driver. Buck had a contagious smile that went along with his jokester personality. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife of sixty years, Carolyn Stephens Sutton of Danville; one son, Dallas E. Sutton, Jr. of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Bonnie Craycraft of Mt. Sterling and Connie Brock (Tim) of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Ruby Oakley (Robert) and Pauline Sutton, both of Mt. Sterling; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Sutton Cicciarelli.
