Danny Richard Vance

Danny Richard Vance, 75, of Owingsville, passed away Sunday morning, July 3, 2022 at Veterans Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky.  He was born December 27, 1946 in White Oak, Kentucky to the late Richard and Lillian Vance.

Danny was a resident of Bath County, a retired tool and die maker and a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.  He was also a member of the American Legion and MENSA.  Danny enjoyed; working with horses and 4H, he supported the local high school band and also enjoyed camping, fishing and being with his family.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years; Vickie Klineline Vance; three daughters; Gina Howard of Morehead, Lorraine Ott (Blake) of Stepstone and Kathryn Jackson (Frankie Crouch) of Owingsville; eight grandchildren; Amber, Bradley, Justin, Emma, Blake, Ethan, Heather and Eli; three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his son; Danny Vance II.
