David Pendleton Bascom, 58, of W. Tunnel Hill Road, Sharpsburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on May 25, 1961 to George Nicholas Bascom and Dorothy Pendleton Bascom. He is survived by two sons, David Nathaniel Bascom (Leanne Fawns) of Owingsville, Kentucky, Ethan Thomas Bascom of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and one granddaughter Isabella Claire who he adored.
David was a Bath County native and a member of the Sharpsburg Baptist Church. He was a farmer and could do anything with his hands. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Isabella. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Mardon (Dave) of Richmond, KY, Elisabeth Bascom (Gary) of Navasota, TX, three brothers, George Bascom (Nancy) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Thomas Bascom (Zeny) of Yuma, AZ and Richard Bascom (Theresa) of Prospect, KY and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George N. And Dorothy P. Bascom.
