Deborah "Debbie" Alice (McVey) Corey

Deborah "Debbie" Alice McVey Corey, 64, of Mt. Sterling passed away on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 20, 1958 to the late Richard and Laura Triplett McVey.

Debbie was a Montgomery County native and her hobbies included listening to music, reading, riding horses, visiting Pigeon Forge and spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be dearl missed by her family and friends.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Lee Corey; two sons, Nathan "Nate" Powell of Mt. Sterling, and Andy Corey of Salt Lick; two daughters, Jessica "Nikki" Helton of Owingsville and Jessi Rollins (Evan) of Mt. Sterling; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, Jack McVey (Shirley) of Sharpsburg, William "Duck" McVey of Sharpsburg and Elgin McVey (Carrie) of Mt. Sterling; sister, Diane Woosley (Larry) of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to her parents Debbie was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold McVey and Wayne McVey.
