Donald Ray Adkins

Donald Ray Adkins, 74, of Middletown, Ohio, died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1941 in West Liberty to the late Willie and Pauline Litteral Adkins.
Donald moved to Middletown four years ago from Menifee County, a United States Army veteran, retired self employed heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed restoring older cars; 40 and 50 models, attending car shows, caring for his dogs and most of all, spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his son, James Adkins (Kristin Scrivner) of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Danny Adkins (Lisa) of Midletown; three sisters, Imogene Peck, Jerry Downs (Fred) and Carolyn Stacy (Jack), all of Middletown; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Kathy Adkins of Middletown and his two dogs, Blackie and Brownie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sherman Adkins; one sister Tammy Taylor and one grandchild.
