Donald Lee Branham

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Lee Branham, a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Born on June 18, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Les and Helen Clay Wills Branham, Donald, peacefully departed this world on August 5, 2024, at his residence in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. 

Donald was a dedicated surface coal miner in Morgan County, contributing his hard work to the industry for many years. His commitment and perseverance were a testament to his strong work ethic and love for his family. Donald's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. 

Donald was the beloved spouse of Joyce Faye Reed Branham, celebrating 64 years of marriage filled with love and loyalty. He was the proud father of David Lee Branham of Lexington, Lisa Faye Fyffe (Mike) of West Liberty, and cherished grandfather of Matthew Davis (Rachel), Christina Smith, Michael Jason Fyffe II (Emily), as well as great-grandchildren McKenna Smith, Braden Smith, Maddie Grace Davis, and Elizabeth Michelle Davis, Lilee F. Davis, Benjamin Fyffe, Trey Fyffe, and Carlee McClurg all of West Liberty. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother, Barry Wayne Branham of Mount Sterling, and sister, Brenda Oswald of Mount Sterling, to cherish his memory.
