Donald Lee Tharp

Donald Lee Tharp, 85,of Paris died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Dover Manor in Georgetown.  He was born on October 28, 1933 in Louisville to the late Alonzo and Mary Dixon Tharp.

Donald was a native to the Louisville area where he owned and operated Tharp's Photography for over fifty years.  He was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.  Donald truly loved photography and was never without a camera close by.  He also enjoyed time spent with friends and family and his beloved dog "Boo", that only passed a few days before him.  Donald will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Terry Tharp (Nancy) of Louisville; daughter, Michelle Eckert (Mike) of Paris; grandchild Amber Tharp (Andrea) of Louisville and brother-in-law Daniel Wyatt (Donna) of Louisville.

In addition to his parents Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-two years Patricia Ann Wyatt Tharp and sister Jeanette Cash.
