Donald "'Moose" Alan Spray, 59, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at his residence in Mt. Sterling. He was born December 26, 1961 to the late Kenneth Spray and Elaine Kaule Spray.
Don moved to Montgomery County fifteen years ago from Lexington, he attended Clay City United Methodist Church and was an automotive technician at Formel D. He enjoyed cars, including his 1976 red Maverick he restored. Don also had a green thumb and grew all sorts of beautiful flowers. Most of all, he loved Lenora fiercely and was proud of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife, Lenora Coomer Spray of Mt. Sterling; one son, Shannon Burton (Robin) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Jeanne Snowden (Carl) of Clay City; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother, Elaine Kaule Spray of Greenville, Texas; one brother, Michael Spray (Sherry) of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Kathy Petty (Kendal) of Nevada, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clay City United Methodist Church, 409 7th Avenue, Clay City, Kentucky 40312.
Memorial service will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00PM at Clay City United Methodist Church. Kim Rose will be officiating.
