Dorothy Elizabeth Centers, 64, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday morning, February 18, 2013 at Windsor Care Center. She was born on May 20, 1948 to the late Noah Centers and Esther Fields Centers Beam.
Dorothy was a Montgomery County native, a homemaker, and a member of Means Miracle Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include; one son, Chris White (Judy) of Owingsville; one daughter, Angie Cole (Willie) of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Gearldean Ginter (Kenneth) of Lynn, Indiana, Cozetta Ratliff of Winchester, Indiana, and Shirley Spence of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Brandon Mullins, Joshua Cornett, Elizabeth Cornett, Whitney Young, and Christopher White II; three great grandchildren, Christian Mullins, Chloe Young, and Aubrey Young; Several nephews and nieces; and fiancé©, Albert "Cowboy" White of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy White; two brothers, Walter Centers and Noah Centers, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Charles "Sonny" Spence and Ray Ratliff.
Funeral will be Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00AM at City Life Church of God. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at City Life Church of God. Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Stan Spence, Jeff Spence, Willie Cole, Kenneth Ginter, Brandon Mullins, and Josh Cornett.
Honorary Pallbearers: Neth Jones, Mark Centers, Lynn Young, Doug Centers, Mike Spence, and Christopher White.
