Douglas Dale Arnett

Douglas Dale Arnett, 56, died on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his residence.  He was born on September 15, 1962 to Marcus and Eunice Williams Arnett.

Doug was a Montgomery County native, a carpenter and of the Christian faith.  He enjoyed nature, flowers, animals, fishing and hunting.  His friends and family will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Arnett of Jeffersonville; mother, Eunice Williams Arnett of Mt. Sterling; three sons, Mathew Adams (Kelli) of Mt. Sterling, Christian Arnett and Jacob Arnett, both of Owingsville; two daughters, Angel Arnett and Amy Arnett, both of Jeffersonville; one step-daughter, April Roberts (Forest) of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Waylon Adams, Kisha Faulkner and Amber Roberts, all of Mt. Sterling; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Patty Poore, Marcus Sue Dennis, both of Danville, Vonetta Stephens of Jeffersonville and Sandy Reed (Thomas) of Mt. Sterling.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Marcus Arnett and his grandparents, Rosco and Dora Arnett and Arnold and Julie Williams.

Funeral will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00AM.  Visitation will be Monday from 5:30PM to 8:00PM, both services at Queen Street Christian Fellowship.  Committal service will follow at the Fortune Cemetery.  Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating.

Pallbearers: William Adkins, Eddie Ray Johnson, Eli Johnson, Markie Johnson, Thomas Reed and Tyler Reed.

Honorary Pallbearers: Lori Lykins, Roger Davis, Jessie Reed and Jackie Reed.
