Elizabeth Sue Shepherd

Elizabeth Sue Barnes Shepherd, 65, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 21, 1947 in Mt. Sterling to the late Rhodalis and Lilliway Garland Barnes.
Sue was a Montgomery County native and a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She worked for the Montgomery County School System for many years where she was better known to the children of Montgomery County as "Mrs. Sue". She enjoyed sewing, decorating, square dancing, and attending church services.
Survivors include; her husband of 47 years, Bedford Shepherd of Mt. Sterling; three sons, Emery Shepherd (Joyce) of Carlisle, Douglas Shepherd and Jeremy Shepherd both of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Delilah Shepherd Dollar of Somerset; two brothers, Frank Barnes (Cheryl) of Florida and Charles Barnes (Shirley) of Ohio; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Barnes and Wayne Barnes; and a sister Pamela Barnes.
There will be a potluck following the service at the Shepherd's residence.
