Elveree Hazel Estill many new as Ellen but her family new her as Elveree was an amazing woman. She was a cat lover; many would say she loved and cared for cats more than people. She always said she would own a cat sanctuary one day and she did just that called Kitty Lodge, Inc. Although she was unable to have children of her own, her cats were that void for her. Elveree was known by many for her caring nature and dedication to animals, mainly cats. She educated people on the importance of spaying and neutering and had a sanctuary for cats of the deceased and any disabled felines.
Elveree lived in many places and explored the world; her adventures and stories can be told through her photos and conversations with many she encountered or passed paths with along the way. She was a fighter, and she overcame Ovarian cancer in her earlier years, followed by Breast Cancer, a heart attack, strokes, and recently diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer which she decided not to fight against.
Elveree is survived by her 17 cats who are going to miss her dearly, and an
outstanding amount of family and dear friends.
