Floyd J. Creech, 60, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday evening, July 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 2, 1952 in Powell County to Eugene Creech and the late Mable Creech.
Floyd, a member of the Camargo Church of Christ, moved to Montgomery County 41 years ago. He was retired from Bundy Tubing where he worked as a Tool and Die Maker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, old cars and spending time with his grandchildren that he loved so dearly. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and church family.
Survivors include; his wife of 41 years, Velma Bowles Creech of Mt. Sterling; one son, Michael Creech (Christy) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Stephanie Collins (Timothy P.) of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, McKenzie Creech, Cailyn Oldfield, Cameryn Creech and Conner Creech all of Mt. Sterling; his father, Eugene Creech of Clay City; two brothers, Llolyd Creech (Clara) of Mt. Sterling and Glen Creech (Wanda) of Clay City.
Funeral will be Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00AM at Camargo Church of God. Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Camargo Church of God. Burial will follow at the Kennon Cemetery in Clay City. Brother Randy Imel and Brother Charles Wills will be officiating.
