Foy Ingra

Foy Ingram, Jr., 87, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, March 31, 2014, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born May 23, 1926 in Bath County to the late Foy and Bertie Donaldson Ingram.

Foy was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, a WWII Army Veteran and retired from Ashland Oil as a truck driver. He was a Kentucky Colonel, active member of Rolling Hills Church of Christ and was also a past deacon. Foy enjoyed serving and taking care of the lawn at Rolling Hills Church of Christ and the Bible Camp. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.

Foy is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Carolyn Craycraft Ingram of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Gerald Ingram (Charlotte) of Bath County and Larry Ingram (Ella) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Debbie Johnson (Johnny) of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Irene Nixon, Christine Collins (Earl) and Janice Clemons (Delbert), all of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Tyler Johnson (Becky), Ryan Ingram, Kevin Ingram (Lesley), Michele Warner (Mike) all of Mt. Sterling and David Ingram of Bath County; six great grandchildren, Dessie Warner, Jeramiah Warner, Addie Warner, Beckum Johnson, Bruwin Johnson and Maesyn Ingram, all of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Ingram and Forrest Ingram.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Rolling Hills Bible Camp.

Pallbearers: Ryan Ingram, Kevin Ingram, David Ingram, Tyler Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Charles Ingram, Michele Warner and Florence Walters.

Honorary Pallbearers: Frank Lewis, Stanley Anderson, Delbert Clemons, Earl Collins, Kenneth Donaldson and George David Donaldson.
