Frances "Frankie" Ann Mann Lawson, 75, of Monroe, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, August 14, 2013 at Atrium Medical Center in Franklin, Ohio. She was born in Menifee County on July 14, 1938 to the late Willard and Delphine Ratliff Mann.
Frankie had been a resident of Montgomery County before recently moving to Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe, Ohio. Throughout her life, Frankie and her husband James, owned several businesses throughout Ohio and Kentucky; hotels, clothing stores, and restaurants. She loved spending time with her family; she enjoyed playing board games, cards, and was an avid scrabble player.
Frankie is survived by; three brothers, Joe Mann (Lee) of Cedartown, Georgia, Danny Mann of Frenchburg, and Terry Mann (Linda) of Mt. Sterling; four sisters, Agnes Ledford (Bill) of Wellington, Evelyn "Joy" Boast of Franklin, Ohio, Donna Woods (Paul) of Russellville, Ohio, and Peggy Woods (Kimber) of Lexington, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Ollie Lawson, Jr. and a sister, Janice Combie.
