Gary Eugene Wells, 67, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday morning, October 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 28, 1950 in Morgan County.
Gary graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, of the Christian faith and retired from Rockwell. He enjoyed working on older cars, watching drag racing, camping and boating. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, J.R. Wells (Lori) of Lexington and Gene Wells of Mt. Sterling; his parents, Rex and Deloris King Wells of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Denzil Wells of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Glenda White (Ralph) of Mt. Sterling and Libby Clark (Bill) of Winchester; two grandchildren, Noah Spratt of Lexington and Isabelle Wells of Mt. Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Grassy Lick United Methodist Church, PO Box 206, 2350 Grassy Lick Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
Funeral will be Friday, October 27, 2017 at 12:00PM, Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the Grassy Lick United Methodist Church, 2550 Prewitt Grassy Lick, Mt. Sterling, KY. Burial will follow in the Grassy Lick United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Joey Murphy will be officiating.
