George Reffit

George Reffitt, Sr., 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2012 at Central Baptist Hospital. He was born June 26, 1949 to the late John and Mary Crockett Reffitt.
George, a Montgomery County native, previously worked as a Millwright for Conveyor Specialist. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and was an avid UK and Ohio State University sports fan.
Survivors include; two sons, George Reffitt, Jr. (Debbie) of Mt. Sterling and Matt Reffitt (Glenna) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Jennifer Carter (Eric) of Mt. Sterling; three brothers, Tommy Reffitt (Diane) of Jeffersonville, Willie Reffitt (Linda) of Mt. Sterling, and John Reffitt (Barbara) of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Geneva Thompson (Richard) of Mt. Sterling and Joyce Purvis of Bath County; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Reffitt; and a sister, Maudie Koch.
Funeral will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 4:30PM at Coffman-Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 3:00PM to 4:30PM at Coffman-Adams Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Williams will be officiating.
