Gladys Inez Pieratt Vice Judge, 88, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday evening, May 18, 2020 at UK Hospital. She was born in Mt. Sterling on May 7, 1932 to the late Saint and Clemmie Moore Pieratt.
Gladys was a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling and a member of Rolling Hills Church of Christ. She also belonged to American Legion Auxiliary Unit, Saint Joseph Hospital Guild, Daughters of the American Revolution and Tea Leaf Club. Her hobbies included antique's and going to antique auctions; cooking, quilting and reading. Gladys' friends and family will miss her dearly.
She is survived by one son, Robbie Vice of Mt. Sterling and one daughter, Suzan Vice Wells (Paul) of Winchester.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Vice; one granddaughter, Crystal Dearing; one brother, John Pieratt and two sisters, Mary Blevins and Ilene Goldie.
There will be a drive thru visitation Tuesday, May 26, 2020 from 11:00AM-12:45PM at Rolling Hills Church of Christ followed by a 1:00PM committal at Machpelah Cemetery. Brother Dan Murphy will be officiating.
