Golden (Burcham) Caudill

Golden Burcham Caudill, 93, of Mt. Sterling died on March 28, 2019 at Windsor Care Nursing Home.  She was born March 4, 1926 to the late James Burcham and Mae Smith Faulkner.

Golden was a native of Powell County and of the Christian Faith.  She enjoyed attending church, gospel music and spending time with loved ones.  Golden loved her children and grandchildren and took pride in their raising.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Surviving are her two daughters Lema Chandler (Danny) of Mt. Sterling and Sue Crump (Mack) of Bath County; two sisters Vernie Kincaid of Michigan and Bessie Brewer of Stanton; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren and her special grandson Shawn Little (Janice) of Stanton.

In addition to Golden's parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Caudill; four sons Larry Caudill, Lonnie Caudill, Eugene Caudill and Herschell Caudill; daughter Linda Carol Crowe; two sisters Ollie Stanhope and Ann Morton and brother James Burcham.

Funeral will be on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00AM.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM, both will be held at Freedom Church of God in Mt. Sterling.  Committal Service to follow funeral at Rest Haven Cemetery in Stanton.  Pastor Hoss Prater will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Michael Crump, Devin Little, Skylar Crump, James Thorpe, Michael Charles and Dustin Charles.
