Harold Thomas Craycraft, 88, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 surrounded by his family at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. He was born in Bourbon County on February 22, 1933 to the late Clarence "C.A." and Clara Bishop Craycraft.
Harold was a resident of Montgomery County for the past fifty-three years, was of the Christian faith and a member of Bethesda Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. Harold was a lifelong farmer and he enjoyed taking care of his roses, watching U.K. basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years; Greenia Trimble Craycraft; one son; Mark Craycraft (Denise) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter; Donna Raper (Tim) of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren; Tara Cherven (Chris), Bradley Craycraft, Sara Shackelford (John), J.D. Moore and Amanda Moore; two great grandchildren; Carson Cherven and Kennedy Shackelford.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by five brothers; Kenneth, Wayne, James, Raymond and Charles; six sisters; Corabelle, Almarie, Virginia, Carolyn, Wanda and Lucille.
Funeral Service for Harold Craycraft will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00PM, visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Both will be held at First Church of God, Mt. Sterling, KY. Reverend Terry Ginter and Pastor Paul D. Prather will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Lynn Canada, Dwain Ginter, Larry Ingram, David Craycraft, Jimmy Craycraft, Collis Setters, Brent Setters, Randy Craycraft.
Honorary Pallbearers: Cecil Trimble, Danny Montgomery, Byron Craycraft, Gerald Ingram, Donald Gilvin, Michael Craycraft, Keith Craycraft, Kenneth "Bubby" Craycraft.
