Harvey Patton, Jr., 72, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday morning at UK Medical Center. He was born February 26, 1940 in Montgomery County to the late Merin Patton and Lynn Conkright
Harvey was a Montgomery County native, years ago, he was employed by David Chambers in the sanitation business, and he really enjoyed gospel music, flea markets, antique malls, and his daily socializing while he strolled around town.
Survivors include; one son, Charlie David Patton of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Cathy Preston of Jeffersonville and Lisa Stevens of Louisville; one brother, Dale Patton of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, Amber Davis of Jackson, Charles Davis of Jeffersonville, Amanda Preston of Jeffersonville and Madison Butts of Louisville; one great grandchild, Kayden Noble of Jackson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Patton, Frankie Patton and Albert Patton.
Graveside service will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Willoughby Cemetery on Cream Alley Road at 11:00AM.
