Holly Katherine Walsh

Holly Katherine Walsh, 30, of Winchester, passed away Saturday evening, December 25, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Lexington on June 3, 1991 to Jack Lee Thomas, Jr. and Jennifer Leigh Walsh.

Holly resided in Clark County the majority of her life.  She was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and a former employee of Walmart and Amazon.  Holly had a caring and giving personality, she never met a stranger.  She was extremely athletic and was involved in high school basketball, cheerleading in her younger years and karate.  Upon leaving this earth, Holly received a medal of honor, for gifting eight individuals as an organ donor on Christmas Day.  She will be dearly missed and never forgotten by her family and friends.

Holly is survived by her mother; Jennifer Walsh of Clay City; her brother; Dustin Walsh (Donna) of Winchester; maternal grandfather; Greg Groen of Winchester; special uncle; Zachary Groen (Jessica) of Mt. Sterling; her beloved dog; Sophie.

Holly was preceded in death by her father; Jack Lee Thomas, Jr. and her maternal grandmother; Margaret Walsh.
