Irene Brown Little

Irene Brown Little, 92, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday morning, June 20, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Nicholas County on May 21, 1928 to the late Henry and Stella Blanton Brown.

Irene was a life-long resident of Montgomery County and a member of First Christian Church.  She enjoyed her vegetable garden, cooking and working crossword puzzles.  Irene loved her dogs and spending time with friends and family.  She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Hughes of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Bettye Sutherland of Reno, Nevada and Faye Whitt of Tullahoma, Tennessee and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.  Irene is also survived by three "grand-pets", Rizzo, Luka and Ava.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert "Bobby" Little; one son, Greg West; one brother and three sisters.

Memorial service will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 1:00PM in the chapel at First Christian Church with Pastor Scott Holley officiating.
