James Allen Crump, 75, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday morning, November 16, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born August 13, 1942 in Carlisle to the late Hanson and Eva Sams Crump..
James moved to Montgomery County fifty-five years ago from Carlisle, he's of the Christian faith and retired from Hobart. He enjoyed; car dirt track racing, fishing, UK basketball and raising a vegetable garden. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Margaret Scott Crump of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Carla Crump of Mt. Sterling; three sons, Randy Crump, Kevin Crump (Krystle) and Dustin Crump, all of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, Sasha Conley, Kerri Craycraft, Whitney Addington, all of Mt. Sterling and Mark Crump of Paintsville; one great grandchild, Zoey Craycraft of Mt. Sterling; one brother, William Crump (Coretta) of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, J.W. Crump, Harold Crump and Lorene Frost.
