James "Jason" Lee, 47, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky passed away Thursday morning, October 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Continuing Care Hospital, Lexington surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 8, 1975 to Jim and Mary Byrd Lee.
Jason was a Montgomery County native, and a graduate of Montgomery County High School, class of 1995. He was a former HVAC technician and a member of Jeffersonville Baptist Church. Jason was a high school football player and a former Junior Pro football coach. He enjoyed; vacationing at the beach, riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing with his son Colby and being Pap to his grandson Jameson. Jason was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
Jason is survived by his parents; Jim and Mary Lee of Mt. Sterling; his loving and devoted wife of twenty-five years; Kem Barnes Lee of Jeffersonville; adored daughter; Alexes Meadows (Bradley) of Jeffersonville; cherished son Colby Lee of Jeffersonville; precious grandson; Jameson Colt Meadows of Jeffersonville; sister; Ruth Lee of Mt. Sterling; several cousins and many close friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, October 28, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Both will be held at Jeffersonville Baptist Church 145 Highway 599 Jeffersonville, Kentucky. Interment will follow the funeral service at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Scott Barnes will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Colby Lee, Bradley Meadows, Rex Martin, Derek Davidson, Richard Henderson, Brian Jones, Stacy Hiler and Robbie Elliott.
Honorary Pallbearers: Lisa Crowe, Larry Harris, Dean Harris, Dan Adams, Tom Orme, Brian Barnes, Megan Willoughby, Lisa McConnell and the Montgomery County Football Team.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Jason Lee to Montgomery County Football Quarterback Club 5008 Old Maysville Road Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
