James "Jimmy" Elliott Stewart

James "Jimmy" Elliott Stewart, 66, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday morning, November 5, 2022 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  He was born April 24, 1956 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Elliott Stewart, Jr. and Juanita Craycraft Stewart Hart.

Jimmy was a Montgomery County native, a member of Gateway Christian Church and retired from Stantac.  He enjoyed; traveling, landscaping, gardening and carpentry.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his beloved wife of forty years, Linda Scott Stewart of Mt. Sterling; one granddaughter, Zoey Layne Stewart; one brother, Bill Stewart (Cathy) of Florida; one sister, Mary Cotton of Mt. Sterling; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, Brian Stewart, sister, Janice Meadows and brother-in-law, Butch Meadows.
